At the Romanshorn and Uttwil sites in eastern Switzerland, the Vitaplant AG and Max Zeller Söhne AG companies employ more than 150 people from the fields of agronomy, biology, food technology and pharmacy.
These fifth-generation businesses, rich in tradition, pursue long-term and sustainable goals. Central to this is a close and personal customer - supplier relationship with a long-term outlook.

At its headquarters in Switzerland, Vitaplant has greenhouses with various climate zones for research purposes, 6 ha. of land for experimental and pilot cultivation, an in-vitro propagation laboratory and a GACP / CGMP raw material warehouse.
Commercial cultivation of the crops takes place worldwide either at our subsidiaries or at hand-picked cooperation partners.
The company's state-of-the-art laboratories and long-standing partnerships with analytical service providers ensure that the raw materials produced are promptly tested thoroughly.

Max Zeller Söhne AG is the leading producer of phytopharmaceuticals for the Swiss market and one of the few companies that monitor the entire value creation process from the seed to the finished product. The pharmaceuticals are sold in Switzerland and in over 25 countries worldwide.

Foundation of Vitaplant
